about the compassion in the classroom project

We have shared Compassionate Communication with children in schools throughout the Kootenays and feel very hopeful about how children embrace the NVC consciousness and start envisioning a peaceful world.  The purpose of the Compassion In The Classroom Project is to make more NVC training and materials available to children as part of life-long learning that will truly serve them and the world they create. 

A portion of the profits from the summer 2009 BC Road to Compassion went to starting an NVC Community Library at the SelfDesign-International School of the Kootenays in Nelson.  This library will make NVC books and materials available to as many children and youth as possible.
