about mediation

I offer needs-based mediation for any parties looking to bring mutual understanding and connection to their particular situation.  Whether I'm working with a long-standing conflict or a short-term disagreement, my role is to translate judging and blaming into needs, and then support each side to hear the other, and be heard themselves.  Once there is a connection of mutual understanding, we work together to find ways to meet everyone's needs.

For mediation to be effective it is requested that there is interest from both parties in meeting and some shared intention to work towards mutual understanding.  From there we can explore solutions that will be satisfying to both.
