Workshops and Courses
These workshops and courses are for people who are tired of wasting energy in arguments and unhealthy patterns and want to manifest what is most important to them. I help participants understand what isn't working in their relationships and why and show them a way to feel more alive while creating what they want for themselves.
I teach participants skills for building a more compassionate, empowered, and invigorating relationship with themselves and for finding more understanding, fun, and collaboration with others.
Supporting the Relationship with Yourself:
- Learn a simple and powerful process for finding calm and clarity during conflict, stress, and upset.
- Learn about how why the way we speak and act affect the different parts of our brains and nervous system
- Build awareness of unconscious limiting beliefs and learning processes to exchange them for more aliveness and empowerment.
Supporting Your Relationships with Others:
- A four-step process that allows people to be understood clearly when sharing difficult information with others.
- Skills for responding effectively to criticism, blame, and difficult communication.
- Skills for ensuring requests are clear and agreements are kept or accounted for.
- Processes and skills for building stronger connection with others so that communication and cooperation happen more easily.
I believe that learning happens best with a variety of approaches, including individual and partner exercises; large and small group exercises and discussion, role plays using real situations, and facilitator demonstrations. Balanced with the learning and practice are connecting games and movement so that the event is energizing and fun.
I offer shorter, introductory workshops, multi-day trainings, and long-term programs. My Compassionate Communication work is often complimented with Interpersonal Neurobiology and Restorative Systems.

"From the moment our workshop opened with Eric singing an original and entertaining song, he created an environment that felt welcoming, safe and intensely interesting for participants. Throughout the workshop there was much laughter, a few tears and a growing appreciation for the strength of compassion within us all. When we began, many of us were strangers to each other. By the time the workshop ended, we had become not only friends, but community." -"- Mary Koch, Omak, WA
